"Minnesota Live!" on KSTP 5
Welp! I did a thing.
The producers at KSTP reached out about episodes of Minnesota Live that they do on location called “Megs and Eggs” (the hosts are Megan Newquist and Chris Egert) and it’s a breakfast segment at different local restaurants.
This time they would be broadcasting live from Hell’s Kitchen in downtown Minneapolis. They asked if I could share the history behind landmarks nearby. Lucky for me, there are LOT to choose from!
We settled on the Schmitt Music Wall and the Oaklands on 9th. There’s definitely a lot more to each story than we had time to discuss on air, so make sure you check out the whole story at the links.
The whole KSTP team was super nice and total pros, even though their lavalier mics stopped working and we had to share one mic! The show must go on.
